Get up and get moving at the Kroc Center! Sign up for one of our activities or attend an open gym. There's fun to be had at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
Join us every Tues. morning starting June 5 for a fun 5k. We start at 7:15am with warm-ups led by Ashland high school track runners. At 7:30 we will start the clock, rain or shine! This is a perfect way to ease yourself into running a 5k or work on your time for our big August 18th race. We will provide for runners/walkers only a small snack at the end of your 5k each week.
Our recreation department is starting a new program called Let's Walk. Visit the Welcome Center for more information and to sign up. We will have a logbook and information on various areas in Ashland where you can log your walks. Available the last week of May to start, each month participants can earn a prize by logging the correct challenge for the month. This is a FREE program open to adults and children alike. Set a weekly and monthly family goal or challenge a friend, and spend some precious time together. Let’s get some fitness in this summer and foster a love of adventure and togetherness while enjoying nature (or our air conditioning).
Parents of small children can come and get together with other moms/dads as their children play in the field house. There’s plenty of room and the weather is always nice inside the Kroc Center! Join us and enjoy bounce houses, music, trampolines, games, balls, blocks and a devotional time.
Train in ways to protect yourself from danger using Karate Do, Arnis, Kali & Silat techniques with Judo and Hapkido throws and take downs. This is a fun class in which to earn belt ranks and get fit!
There will be no summer classes. Classes will resume on September 4, 2018.
